BE THE LIGHT
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5
Light and darkness: The verse uses light and darkness as metaphors. "Light" represents Jesus and his truth, while "darkness" represents sin, evil, and a lack of spiritual understanding.
Incomprehensible darkness: The darkness is unable to understand or overpower the light because the light is divine and eternal.
Overcoming the darkness: The verse is a statement of hope, emphasizing that evil cannot extinguish the divine truth and salvation that Christ offers. Jesus himself states in John 12:46, "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness
